Much thanks to my cousin, Dee Russ Carson for sharing all of the information that she has uncovered on my mother's side of the family with me. I would also like to express thanks to my cousin, Bobby Stokes, who shared a great deal of information on my father's side of the family.
The cute little guys on this page are my Daddy, Charles Tidwell, and his brother, Jesse B. "Pop" Tidwell, taken sometime around 1925. Daddy is seated on the arm of the chair.
*Bobby Stokes has passed on since this page was created. He was a really sweet and gentle man who was always so willing to share any and all information that he had, which amazingly was mostly all by memory. I miss you, Bobby!
